Being four generations of photographers now in our family, going back to the early twenties, Samuel W. Johnston Sr. had accumulated many years of family photos that dated back to the civil war, of his grandfather and family. He was always having family reunions and making sure we carried on the tradition of photographing the 4 generations together. In highschool our oldest son, Samuel W. Johnston IV created a cologe of our family with a saying that has stuck with me some 40 years later.

"Are they gone from time itself, or are they going for ever with no time at all." Family maters, that's why we take pride in making lasting memories for our community and have been for quite some time, espesially if you count all our generations. Today our youngest son is taking over the family buisness, David Johnston, and has been doing an excellent job carring on our family tradition. Carolyn Johnston, Davids mother, has been doing portrait oil paintings for families and executives, now for more than 45 years. Recently she has had her paintings entered into the Hall of Fame at the University of Florida were she has paintings hanging in almost ever hall and library on and off campus. She's still painting strong and better than ever and will do a wonderful painting for your family as well. Now there's a memory that can last all time!
